The pixel art action platformer INARI is in development for PC via Steam, and has already crossed 50,000 wishlists within a single week following its announcement on January 7, 2026, developer 1HP STUDIO revealed.

Inspired by fast-paced titles such as Katana ZERO, Nine Sols, Celeste, and Ghostrunner, INARI positions itself as a high-speed kunai action platformer built around precision, momentum, and relentless pressure, reinforced by instant-teleport combat and a one-life executioner fantasy set in an Eastern-inspired world.
In INARI, players take on the role of Izna the Reaper, an enforcer sent by a divine Lord to hunt down the Seven Daughters who dared to defy his rule. Combat revolves around chaining kunai throws with instantaneous teleportation, allowing rapid repositioning, aggressive offense, and razor-sharp control of space. Encounters are designed around overwhelming odds, where a single mistake can mean death, reinforcing the game’s focus on mastery rather than attrition.
Alongside the growing momentum on Steam, 1HP STUDIO confirmed that a playable demo will be released soon as part of the game’s upcoming Kickstarter campaign. The campaign will give players their first hands-on opportunity to experience INARI’s lightning-fast combat and execution-driven design while supporting further development.
