Virtual Boy Classics Coming to Switch Online + Expansion Pack on February 17, 2026
DaRmaZat Nintendo has announced Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. The collection will launch on February 17, 2026, coinciding with the debut of the Switch 2 hardware.
The service will feature a lineup of titles from the original Virtual Boy library, including Mario’s Tennis, Mario Clash, Virtual Boy Wario Land, Teleroboxer, and more. To play, users will need Joy-Con 2 or standard Joy-Con controllers, together with a dedicated accessory inspired by the original Virtual Boy hardware. This add-on will be sold separately through the My Nintendo Store.
By bringing back these rare titles with modern compatibility, Nintendo is making the once-lost Virtual Boy experience accessible to a broader audience for the first time in decades.
