DaRmaZat Tormented Souls II, the sequel to the survival horror classic, will launch on October 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, publisher PQube and developer Dual Effect announced.
The story once again follows Caroline Walker after the harrowing events at Wildberger Hospital. Hoping for a normal life alongside her younger sister Anna, her peace is shattered when Anna suffers from a mysterious illness. Coughing blood, collapsing into unconsciousness, and afflicted with blackened eyes, she shows no signs of recovery from conventional treatments. In desperation, Caroline turns to the supernatural for answers.
Her journey leads to Puerto Miller, a secluded town in South America with a history marked by secrecy and fear. The settlement was founded long ago by the isolated Ismuit tribe, and its remote monasteries and hidden halls conceal terrifying truths. As Caroline searches for a cure, she must navigate these nightmarish locations while confronting creatures born of horror and despair.
Survival demands resourcefulness, with players relying on improvised weapons to fend off enemies and solving environmental puzzles to progress deeper into the town’s darkest secrets. Every encounter is a struggle for survival, and every discovery reveals more of the unsettling mystery at the heart of Caroline’s quest.
