11 bit studios and developer Digital Sun have announced that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will launch in Early Access on October 23 for PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The game will also be available through PC Game Pass. A full release is planned later for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The sequel once again follows Will, now stranded in the mysterious village of Tresna. To find his way back home, he must navigate an interdimensional rift filled with dangers, demanding fast dodge rolls, strategic combat, clever looting, and the return of his trademark shopkeeping.
At the start of Early Access, players will be able to explore three distinct biomes, each home to unique enemies and challenges. More than 120 relics can be collected and sold in your shop, where setting prices, serving customers, and customizing your store remain as central as ever.
The Early Access build also introduces an updated combat system featuring four main weapon types, nearly 100 perks tied to dungeons and shopkeeping, and smoother mechanics designed to refine the action. While the game is already close to completion, the developers emphasize that Early Access will give players an opportunity to experience most of the story while helping to polish the adventure ahead of its full release.
