Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room have announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will launch on October 21, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

Set in a modern-day Seattle teetering on the brink of war, the sequel to the cult-classic RPG puts players in control of an elder vampire navigating a city consumed by intrigue, shifting power struggles, and supernatural threats.
The Monster Within
Blood fuels your existence and powers your vampiric Disciplines. Players will stalk Seattle by night, feeding on its unsuspecting population while carefully maintaining the Masquerade. Break it, and you risk drawing the attention of law enforcement—or worse, other creatures lurking in the World of Darkness.
Clan choice shapes both narrative and combat, with multiple playstyles available: overwhelm foes with raw strength, manipulate from afar, or methodically thin the herd like the apex predator you are.
The World of Darkness Awaits
Seattle itself becomes a character, home to dangerous factions, alluring allies, and mortals caught in the crossfire of powers they cannot comprehend. With branching choices, schemes, and alliances, every decision influences the balance of power and the ultimate fate of the city.
Developed by BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room, Bloodlines 2 combines visceral, immersive combat with narrative depth, offering players the chance to either ascend within vampire society—or defy it completely.
Update – August 21, 2025: During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 finally nailed down a release date and showed a new trailer, but the celebration was cut with controversy: two playable clans, Toreador and Lasombra, will be locked behind day-one paid DLC.
Players who stick with the standard edition will have access to Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, and Ventrue, but the “Shadows and Silk” pack—bundled with the $89.99 premium edition or sold separately for about $21.99—adds the seductive Toreador and the shadow-weaving Lasombra, each with unique abilities that meaningfully impact gameplay.
