Psychedelic first-person dungeon-crawling RPG Descent of Lunaris has rolled out a major playtest update on Steam, inviting a new wave of testers while overhauling core systems based on community feedback.

In Descent of Lunaris, you assemble and customize an elite squad to explore a fractured lunar research facility, navigating grid-based labyrinthine dungeons beneath the moon’s surface. Tactical combat requires you to manage formation positioning, exploit elemental weaknesses, and monitor your squad’s sanity as psychological stress alters reality and triggers volatile encounters.
The latest build reworks the demo content and dig site dungeons, introduces dynamic dungeon stability levels, upgrades the engine to Unreal 5.8, and delivers a complete UI overhaul alongside full controller support.
Descent of Lunaris is currently in development for PC via Steam.
