Vampires: Bloodlord Rising Ties Early Access Launch to Blood Donation Campaign

Open-world action-adventure Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is preparing for its Early Access release on January 30, for PC via Steam, and developer Mehuman Games alongside publisher Toplitz Productions has revealed a real-world campaign tied to the launch that invites blood donors to take part in a limited key raffle.

Running until January 30, the #Blood4Bloodlord initiative allows anyone who is already planning to donate blood at a certified donation center to voluntarily participate by submitting a short declaration through the official campaign website. While supplies last, eligible participants can receive a free Steam key for Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, with up to 1,000 keys available in total. The keys will be distributed on the day the game enters Early Access, with full terms and privacy details outlined on the campaign page.

The campaign is thematically linked to the game’s core mechanics, where blood functions as a vital resource. In Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, blood fuels the Castle Core at the heart of the player’s stronghold, unlocking new regions, hidden areas, and progression paths across the cursed land of Sangavia. Outside the game, the developers highlight the real-world impact of blood donation, where a single donation can help save multiple lives.

Set in a dark fantasy open world, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising casts players as a weakened vampire lord awakening from centuries of slumber. Rebuilding a fallen castle is central to the experience, with extensive customization options shaping the fortress into a personal seat of power. Exploration, combat, crafting, and gathering are combined with RPG progression as players hunt prey, command vampire thralls, and expand their influence across the night-shrouded world.

The game supports solo play as well as four-player cooperative multiplayer, allowing allies to help defend the castle, explore Sangavia, and survive the relentless forces of the Inquisition. Shapeshifting abilities, including transformation into a bat, open up vertical exploration and stealth-driven traversal as power is gradually reclaimed.
