DaRmaZat VAULTBREAKERS, the top-down action RPG from developer BetaDwarf and publisher Square Enix Collective, showcased a new gameplay trailer during the Triple-i Initiative showcase alongside the immediate launch of a free Steam demo.
Set in a fantasy world threatened by the ominous, floating Dragonvault Island, the game tasks you with stepping into the shoes of a Vaultbreaker – a legendary champion sent to breach fallen vaults and recover lost treasures. Collecting these artifacts is the only way to open portals leading directly to the floating island above. Gameplay focuses on high-stakes heist missions across solo, PvE, and PvPvE modes, where you navigate dynamic environments, battle fierce bosses, and secure your loot before making a successful extraction.
The new demo offers up to seven hours of gameplay for up to three players in co-op across two PvE difficulty settings. It allows you to explore the game’s opening map and test two playable champions: Nymera, a ranged Elf ranger, and Bjornir, an ice-wielding tank warrior.
VAULTBREAKERS is currently in development for PC via Steam.
