First-person psychological horror adventure SOMBRAS: Negative Frames has launched its first public demo on PC via Steam.

Conceived by the creator of Last Time I Saw You, SOMBRAS: Negative Frames follows photography student Shiomi Alterio as she navigates a distorted, nightmare version of her 2000s-era Japanese hometown. To uncover hidden pathways and process fragments of her past, you utilize a tactile analog camera system to capture supernatural anomalies, manually develop film rolls, and upgrade your photographic gear.
The newly released demo incorporates visual enhancements, an upgraded upgrade interface, dynamic maps, a short intro cutscene, and a fresh chase sequence ahead of Steam Next Fest and live showcases.
SOMBRAS: Negative Frames launches on December 3, 2026, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
