Nearly one week after launching its dark fantasy action RPG The Relic: First Guardian on PlayStation 5 and PC, developer Project Cloud Games has published an official statement apologizing to players for technical issues present at release.

The studio acknowledged that insufficient verification during final launch preparations led to memory-leak bugs, severe framerate drops, texture-loading flaws, and broken event triggers.
In response, the team has already deployed six patches – with additional updates currently rolling out – to restore performance, fix progression blockers, and adjust combat balance.
Looking ahead, Project Cloud Games committed to expanding the title’s semi-open-world experience with ongoing stability fixes, rebalanced rewards, and planned story and boss expansions.
