Developer Laser Guided Games, led by industry veteran Matt Oelfke (Gears of War, Unreal Tournament), has announced that dark fantasy action RPG Fractured Worlds will leave Early Access and officially launch Version 1.0 on August 26, 2026. The title, which launched in Early Access on the Epic Games Store in October 2025, will make its full debut across PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Set in a reality shattered into fragmented realms by the ambition of its inhabitants, the game tasks players with exploring medieval dungeons, enchanted forests, volcanic wastelands, and steampunk cities to uncover lost memories and defeat challenging bosses like the Treasure Golem, Ghostly Knight, and a Shadow entity mirroring the player’s own gear. The title features skill-based combat, containing distinct movesets for weapon archetypes ranging from heavy maces to agile spears and Aether-infused wands, backed by a flexible classless progression system.
Fractured Worlds also introduces emergent cross-platform multiplayer inspired by Souls-like invasions, allowing players to assist, deceive, or invade each other when realities overlap. Additionally, the innovative Map Shard system lets players share procedural instances with randomized modifiers for high-risk, high-reward co-op play.
