Atlus has officially announced Persona 4 Revival, a complete remake of the critically acclaimed RPG classic. The title is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. It will also be available on day one via Xbox Game Pass.

The narrative returns you to the quiet, rural Japanese countryside town of Inaba, where a dark string of serial killings shatters the peace. On foggy mornings, corpses are found hanging mysteriously from buildings and transmission towers. Simultaneously, your high school peers whisper about a bizarre urban legend: staring into a blank television set on a rainy night will reveal your soulmate on the Midnight Channel. While investigating these incidents, you and your classmates from Yasogami High School stumble into an entirely different realm existing behind the screen. Trapped inside this distorted dimension, you awaken an inner spiritual power known as a “Persona” to combat the dangerous entities hidden within.
Persona 4 Revival‘s gameplay splits your calendar year between ordinary student activities and turn-based dungeon crawling. During the day, how you spend your ordinary high school life is entirely up to you – you can attend classes, join after-school clubs, pursue romance, or work part-time jobs to boost your social attributes. Spending time with the locals allows you to form and deepen Social Links, directly unlocking stronger battle perks. When entering the TV world, you will engage Shadows in turn-based combat, exploiting their elemental weaknesses to knock them down and trigger devastating team-centric All-Out Attacks. The remake modernizes the entire experience with fully overhauled contemporary graphics, capturing nostalgic landscapes from clear riverside sunsets to glistening, rain-slicked neon streets.
Pre-orders are live today across both physical and digital storefronts, offering several versions including a Standard Edition ($69.99 / €69.99), a Digital Deluxe Edition ($84.99 / €84.99), a Digital Premium Edition ($99.99 / €99.99), and a massive physical Collector’s Edition ($249.99) packed with an artbook, SteelBook, custom keycaps, and a physical Protagonist and Izanagi statue.
To give fans a deeper look at the updated systems and fresh content, Atlus will host a dedicated “Persona 4 Revival TV” livestream broadcast on June 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET.
