Developer Wolf Haus Games has announced JOIN US, an open-world sandbox survival game themed around managing a doomsday cult. The title is scheduled to launch in March 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. Along with the newly confirmed console and Microsoft Store versions, the developer revealed that the game will be available on day one via Xbox Game Pass.

In JOIN US, your most valuable resource isn’t stone or wood – it’s human beings. You must establish and grow your cult from the ground up, turning the map into your personal follower-farm by converting civilians and enemies alike through custom propaganda and carefully managed infamy.
Once a new follower joins your flock, you can put them to work on labor tasks, control them directly as a playable character, or enlist them as backup on dangerous missions. Every recruit comes with their own volatile mix of strengths and weaknesses, meaning you’ll need to deploy them according to their unique abilities – whether they are doctors, smooth-talkers, or farmers. Just remember to keep them happy; if you neglect your flock, they will permanently quit, and a cult leader without followers is just a lonely weirdo.
This survival sandbox lets you team up with up to three friends for four-player cooperative play, allowing you to build and defend your dream compound from the ground up. You can design a highly specific, unique belief system for your followers to live by – whether you want them worshiping UFOs, practicing cannibalism, forcing intermittent fasting, or just jamming out in a drum circle. Choose your doctrines wisely, because you will have to live with the structural consequences of whatever you convince your flock to believe. As you expand your territory, locals, police, and government forces will try to put a stop to your fun.
You can fight back with a massive stockpile of military-grade weapons, from standard shotguns and miniguns to a specialized launcher that fires live snakes. You’ll need to watch your back, however, because the game operates on a strict permadeath system – once a character dies, they stay dead forever.
