Publisher THQ Nordic and development subsidiary Paraglacial have announced that Fatekeeper, an upcoming first-person role-playing game, will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on June 2. This early release phases in ongoing updates and design improvements shaped directly by community feedback throughout development.

The journey drops you straight into a handcrafted fantasy world where ruins whisper tales of past cataclysms. While your journey follows a focused narrative path, the environment openly invites exploration. Venturing off the beaten path rewards your curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters across vast underground caverns, ancient battlegrounds, and crumbling sanctuaries.
Surviving these biomes requires you to master a dynamic mix of melee and magic. You will battle a wide variety of foes, each sporting distinct attack patterns, strengths, and weaknesses that force you to adapt your tactics on the fly. Success demands careful preparation, meaning you must carefully build and refine your character through meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and unique spell schools.
Naturally, loot also plays a massive role in your setup. You get to discover, collect, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and powerful artifacts. Customizing your loadout to suit your specific playstyle allows you to experiment with combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies, where finding the right gear means the difference between victory and ruin.
