Developer HONKI Games has officially announced NOIR BLOOM, a fast-paced 2D action game described as a “gun-fu” experience. Currently in development for PC via Steam, the project is scheduled for a 2027 release and aims to deliver a stylized, adrenaline-fueled combat system set within a neo-noir metropolis.

The narrative centers on Kow Wing, a protagonist known as the “White Wraith”, who is forced back into a life of violence following the kidnapping of someone close to him. Tasked with dismantling a criminal empire in the eastern metropolis of Orientis, players must navigate through diverse urban environments, including crowded downtown markets, vertical shantytowns, and high-end skyscrapers.
Gameplay in NOIR BLOOM prioritizes a fluid blend of projectile and melee combat. A core mechanic involves the ability to strike and disarm opponents, allowing players to seize enemy firearms mid-battle to maintain their offensive momentum. The developers emphasize a “live-fire ballet” style of play, where every move—from counters to executions—must be calculated in split-second intervals to survive the city’s hostile factions.
While the announcement confirms a 2027 launch window, specific details regarding a precise release date or additional platform support have not yet been disclosed.
