The road to Japan is officially open as Playground Games has unveiled the high-octane launch trailer for Forza Horizon 6. With only ten days left until the Horizon Festival moves to East Asia, the new footage offers as a final deep dive into the neon-lit streets and coastal mountain passes that define the series’ largest open world to date.

Set for a primary launch on May 19, Forza Horizon 6 invites players to experience Japanese car culture from the perspective of a tourist rising through the ranks. The game features a massive roster of over 550 vehicles, including the debut of the 2025 GR GT Prototype.
Beyond the racing, the title places a heavy emphasis on exploration through new systems like the Collection Journal and buildable Estates, allowing players to establish their own presence in rural Japan.
While the standard edition arrives on May 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, those opting for the Premium Edition can hit the asphalt four days early on May 15. The game will also be available on day one via Game Pass. Although the title is currently an Xbox and PC exclusive, PlayStation 5 owners can expect their version to follow later this year.
