Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have announced Loose Cannon, a standalone story DLC for Bloodlines 2 launching on April 27.
In the Loose Cannon expansion, perspective shifts away from Phyre and puts players in control of Benny Muldoon, offering a parallel storyline that fills in narrative gaps from the main campaign and explores his motivations, choices, and role in Seattle’s unfolding vampire conflicts.
Gameplay in Loose Cannon reworks several core systems to reflect Benny’s more direct and violent approach. Telekinesis and traversal tools are replaced with gun-focused combat, melee weapons, and a redesigned movement kit centered on Soaring Leap and Air Dash. Combined with new abilities like Split Second, the DLC emphasizes fast, aggressive encounters and a more grounded combat style compared to the base game’s power set.

Alongside the new story content, the DLC adds additional achievements, cosmetic items for Phyre inspired by Benny’s look, and is accompanied by a broader 2026 roadmap detailing future updates and additional expansions planned for the game’s ongoing support.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2‘s Loose Cannon DLC launches April 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
