Invincible VS‘ Story Mode is structured as a fully playable bonus episode set between later events of Season 3, effectively bridging narrative gaps while expanding its character-driven world.
Designed with the pacing and production quality of a full animated episode, it focuses on key roster members across its 18 playable characters, including Mark Grayson, Omni-Man, Rex Splode, and Atom Eve, blending cinematic storytelling with combat sequences that feed directly into gameplay progression. A significant part of the mode’s production brings together familiar voices from the animated series as well.
Beyond digital editions, Invincible VS also extends into physical editions available for pre-order at select retailers. Standard and Collector’s Editions offer a mix of physical extras such as steelbooks, variant covers, and bonus digital content, reinforcing the project’s crossover approach between game and comic media.
Developed by Skybound Entertainment’s first internal studio, the game is built as a 3v3 tag fighting experience rooted in Robert Kirkman’s acclaimed comic series and its Prime Video adaptation. Invincible VS is set to launch on April 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
