Publisher Skystone Games and developer Streetlamp Studio have announced SlashZero, an anime-inspired side-scrolling roguelike action platformer coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A playtest is planned to take place soon.

The game blends fast-paced action platforming with roguelike progression in a cyberpunk setting. Players can perform acrobatic combat maneuvers, chain aerial combos, and traverse multi-layered levels using parkour-style movement while battling enemies across dynamic environments.
Combat in SlashZero focuses on fluid movement and precise hit feedback, encouraging players to mix tactical decision-making with stylish attacks. Each run allows players to experiment with different characters known as Timehackers, each offering distinct abilities and combat styles.
Customization plays a major role through a build system involving Authority Keys, Authority Blessings, and Authority Codes, enabling players to create a wide range of combat setups. Additional progression systems allow players to gather intelligence and resources between runs to unlock new options and upgrades.
The story takes place in a fractured timeline where the entity known as HIEROS threatens the world. As part of the resistance group called the Timehackers, players travel across shattered timelines in search of powerful Authority Keys to stop the spreading Null Void and confront the looming threat.
