Sagas of Lumin will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam this summer, publisher GameDev.ist and developer Elos Games & Arts announced. A playable demo is live on Steam.

The single-player action RPG centers on seamless combat that blends dragon flight with ground-based fighting. Players can freely switch between aerial battles and close-quarters combat, using their dragon for fast, maneuverable attacks in the sky or dismounting to fight with melee weapons, spellcasting, and steampunk-style firearms.
Dragon gameplay features full manual flight control, allowing players to climb, dive, hover, and execute sharp turns while engaging enemy dragons or attacking ground targets. Aerial encounters include battles against rival dragons, assaults on fortified enemy bases, and encounters with heavily armed airships that require careful maneuvering to avoid cannon fire.
On the ground, combat focuses on precision and timing, combining traditional weapons such as swords, axes, and spears with magic abilities and firearms. These systems are designed to create a fluid transition between aerial and ground combat encounters.
Beyond its combat systems, Sagas of Lumin also emphasizes narrative choice. The game features an original fantasy setting where player decisions influence the story and shape the world’s outcome within a morally complex narrative that avoids traditional good-versus-evil storytelling.
