Stealth action adventure Styx: Blades of Greed is set to launch on February 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), and publisher NACON together with developer Cyanide Studio have now unveiled a brand-new story trailer shedding light on the goblin’s next chapter.

The newly released narrative trailer dives into the events following the previous installment, as Styx leaves the Dark Elf city of Korrangar behind after sabotaging the Amber factory of High Priestess Lyssril. Now commanding a makeshift crew aboard his zeppelin, the infamous master of stealth sets his sights on Quartz, a volatile and highly coveted new energy source. As tensions escalate toward an all-out war between humans, elves, and orks, Styx finds himself relentlessly hunted by the Inquisition, a ruthless human faction determined to eradicate all other races.
Players will journey across the continent of Iserian, exploring vast medieval fantasy environments shaped by conflict and decay. Locations range from the floating ruins of Akenash, once the heart of the World Tree and now overrun by goblins and amber-corrupted elves, to The Wall, the heavily fortified stronghold of the Human Empire. On the war-torn fringes of the continent lies Turquoise Dawn, a dense jungle filled with hostile wildlife, deadly traps, and unpredictable dangers lurking at every step.
Throughout the adventure, Styx is supported by a band of outcasts, including allies such as Helledryn, Djarak, and Wren. Completing missions for these companions rewards players with upgrades that enhance Styx’s abilities, refine his tools, and further customize his stealth-focused playstyle, opening up new infiltration routes and tactical possibilities.
Narratively, Styx: Blades of Greed lays the groundwork for the Great War and chronicles the rise of the Black Hand, the mercenary group whose influence becomes central in the events of Of Orcs and Men. As the third entry in the Styx series, the game builds on the franchise’s established stealth-driven design while expanding player freedom through new tools like a grappling hook and glider, allowing for deeper vertical exploration and more creative approaches to each mission.
