The 3D platformer New Super Lucky’s Tale, developed by Playful, will launch for PlayStation 5 on March 26, PQube announced. The PS5 version will be available both digitally and at retail, marking the latest platform expansion for the family-friendly adventure.

Originally released on Nintendo Switch in 2019 and later on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Humble Store, New Super Lucky’s Tale brings its colorful worlds to PlayStation 5 with technical enhancements tailored to the hardware. The updated version runs in 4K resolution at up to 120 frames per second, offering smoother performance and sharper visuals compared to previous console releases.
Set within the magical Book of Ages, the game follows Lucky on a journey across a variety of imaginative worlds filled with puzzles, collectibles, and platforming challenges. The adventure blends open 3D hub areas with linear stages, 2D side-scrolling sections, mini-games, and boss encounters, all designed around accessible controls and classic platforming sensibilities. On PlayStation 5, DualSense features add subtle tactile feedback to movement and actions, further refining the experience.
