Bubsy 4D, the upcoming 3D platformer starring the iconic bobcat, officially launches on May 22 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store & GOG. Priced at $19.99, the game marks the return of the long-running mascot in a new intergalactic adventure built around modernized movement and level design.

This new entry sends Bubsy beyond Earth as familiar foes return in unexpected forms. After the Woolies’ latest scheme spirals out of control, robotic adversaries known as BaaBots emerge, setting the stage for a journey across alien worlds filled with platforming challenges and fast-paced traversal. The game leans fully into three-dimensional exploration, blending gliding, wall-climbing, pouncing, and a new high-speed rolling form that reshapes how levels are approached.

Level design emphasizes momentum and expression, supporting both straightforward progression and more advanced mastery through time trials and optimized routes.
