Developer DigixArt and publisher THQ Nordic have delayed Tides of Tomorrow, the upcoming first-person narrative adventure with a multiplayer-influenced choice system, to April 22. The game was previously scheduled to launch on February 24 and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The delay was confirmed following extensive feedback gathered from the game’s playable demo and an ongoing closed beta. According to THQ Nordic, the development team determined that additional time is needed to properly address player input and implement improvements. The extra development period is intended to ensure a more polished and cohesive experience for the story-driven adventure at launch.
While the release window has shifted, the studio reaffirmed its commitment to delivering the best possible version of the game, emphasizing that the delay allows DigixArt to refine systems and narrative elements based on community response.
Tides of Tomorrow is set on Elynd, an ocean-covered planet still struggling in the wake of a catastrophic Great Flood. The world now faces a new threat in the form of a mysterious plague known as plastification, and players must navigate its fractured societies in search of a cure. Sailing between floating platforms, players make difficult choices and interact with characters driven by their own motives and beliefs.
A defining feature of the game is its community-influenced storytelling. Decisions made by other players, including friends or even content creators, can shape events within your own playthrough, creating a shared narrative space where outcomes are constantly shifting. A demo for Tides of Tomorrow is currently available on PC via Steam.
