Phantom Line will host a new public playtest on March 5, developer Antistatic Studios announced. The upcoming test introduces major new threats, anomalies, and systems following a complete rebuild of the game since its previous playtest.

The latest update expands Mortfield’s Operator training facility and adds newly discovered anomalies that now appear across the open-world map. Players will be able to venture into unstable space-time zones, confront new enemy types, uncover fresh mysteries, and adapt to environmental challenges. The nuclear icebreaker—now fully implemented as a mobile base of operations—serves as the hub for customization, briefings, and equipment preparation.
Antistatic Studios said the team has rebuilt Phantom Line from the ground up, addressing extensive player feedback. Movement, camera, and interaction systems have been rewritten, bringing smoother and more precise controls supported by new animations and improved responsiveness. An advanced spatial audio system and refreshed biome and weather effects enhance the sense of immersion across the Iron Corridor. The studio also resolved numerous bugs, optimized the world environment, and strengthened networking stability for co-op play, with further refinements planned as the Early Access launch approaches.
Phantom Line is a four-player co-op shooter set in a post-nuclear version of Europe, where Operators investigate and contain paranormal anomalies under Mortfield Industries. The game’s H.U.S.K. system allows players to transfer consciousness into artificial bodies to scout, distract, and outmaneuver otherworldly threats while navigating an escalating international conflict.
The March 5 playtest will be available through Steam and Epic Games Store.
