During today’s PC Gaming Show, OnTheHouse Studio and Ten Image Publishing have unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming survival horror game Huntsman. The PC title will debut on Steam this November, preceded by a free demo launching October 13.
Set within the shadowy corridors of Atherton Laboratories, players step into the role of a newly hired security guard caught in a lockdown gone wrong. Predatory spiders infest the facility, including the towering Huntsman and the newly revealed Orb Weaver. Outnumbered and vulnerable, survival demands careful use of light, improvised tools, and the environment itself to mislead and evade these relentless hunters.
The Orb Weaver brings a new layer of terror, attacking from ceilings and trapping victims in webs before dragging them away. Each arachnid features distinct behaviors, forcing players to adapt on the fly to outlast their stalkers.
In Huntsman, resource management also plays a key role, as players must reroute limited power across different sections of the laboratory to unlock areas, gather supplies, and edge closer to escape.
According to OnTheHouse Studio founder Jory House, Huntsman grew out of a personal confrontation with arachnophobia before evolving into a full commercial release. Ten Image Publishing CEO Chris White praised the project as a showcase for the studio’s future, noting its mix of scares and survival tension.
