Xbox and ASUS have announced that pre-orders are now live for the ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally handhelds across 38 countries, with an additional eight regions joining the lineup on October 16. Pricing is set at $999.99 for the Xbox Ally X and $599.99 for the Xbox Ally.

Both devices aim to deliver a portable yet console-inspired Xbox experience, built on ASUS hardware and Windows 11. Players can access an aggregated library across Xbox, Game Pass, and PC storefronts, while a dedicated Game Bar overlay offers quick access to friends, chats, and game management. Xbox controller-style grips and optimized ergonomics are designed to support longer play sessions, and every purchase includes three months of Xbox Game Pass.
Pre-orders are available through the Microsoft Store in the United States, ASUS’ online shop, and select regional retailers. Newly added markets launching alongside the October 16 release include Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Slovenia, South Africa, Thailand, and Ukraine. Existing availability spans regions such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and Canada.
Accessories such as SanDisk microSD cards, Seagate FireCuda SSDs, and the ROG Xbox Ally Premium Carrying Case can also be reserved ahead of launch, giving players options to expand storage and protect their devices on the go.
The ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally will officially launch worldwide on October 16.
