Dog Parkour-Adventure Barkour Reveals First Gameplay Trailer and Demo Release Date

Barkour, the upcoming action-stealth adventure from VARSAV Game Studios, has received its first official gameplay trailer. The developer also confirmed that a free public demo will be released in October, through Steam to coincide with Steam Next Fest. The game is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Players take on the role of Agent T.H.U.N.D.E.R., a canine secret operative armed with gadgets, agility, and unmistakable doglike charm. The game blends stealth, combat, and fast-paced “barkour” movement across missions, giving players the freedom to infiltrate quietly, strike with force, or rely on acrobatic skill to complete objectives.

The campaign will send players across a wide range of locations, including gothic castles, dangerous greenhouses, and amusement parks hiding sinister secrets. High-tech equipment such as grappling hooks and rocket launchers expand tactical options, while the canine protagonist still behaves like a real dog, wagging his tail and reacting with natural mannerisms that set the tone between seriousness and humor.

The upcoming demo will allow players to sample missions, test gadgets, and experience the flow of canine parkour ahead of the game’s full release on consoles and PC.
