Supergiant Games has announced that Hades II, the highly anticipated sequel to their acclaimed roguelike dungeon crawler, will leave Early Access and officially launch on September 26 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game originally debuted in Early Access for PC on May 6, 2024.

Set in the Underworld of Greek myth, Hades II builds on the best elements of its predecessor, offering an action-packed, endlessly replayable adventure. Players take on the role of the immortal Princess of the Underworld, battling the forces of the Titan of Time while mastering witchcraft-infused weapons and uncovering the secrets of an ever-shifting underworld. The game introduces new gods, ghosts, and monsters, along with expanded interactions and story events that evolve with each run.
Hades II continues Supergiant Games’ signature style with hand-painted environments, refined real-time 3D character models, and an original score. Permanent upgrades and God Mode allow players to experience the adventure at their own pace, while the game’s deep systems encourage experimentation and replayability, making each run a unique journey through mythic challenges and mysteries.
