Konami Releases Launch Trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Remake

Konami has released the launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the full remake of the legendary stealth action adventure. The game will be available on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The remake reimagines the 2004 classic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, keeping its acclaimed storyline and characters intact while updating every aspect with modern technology. Players can expect overhauled visuals, 3D audio, and new environmental details that bring the jungle setting to life in a more immersive way than ever before.

In addition to its enhanced presentation, the game introduces improved damage and wear systems, reflecting Snake’s injuries and torn clothing in real time as a permanent reminder of each unique journey. Players may choose between modernized controls designed for accessibility or the traditional layout that mirrors the original gameplay feel.

Extra modes expand the package further, including the quirky Snake vs. Monkey for PlayStation 5 and PC, a crossover Snake vs. Bomberman for Xbox Series, and a new online multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt, which mixes stealth and survival in competitive matches. Returning features like the comedic Secret Theater also make a comeback, with both classic and newly created short films hidden within the game.
