Ubisoft Mainz has released a new trailer for Anno 117: Pax Romana, introducing Albion, the mysterious Celtic province where few civilized Romans dare to venture. The trailer arrives ahead of the first public demo, which will be playable from September 2 to 16 for all players eager to build their Roman Empire.

As the governor of the vast Roman Empire, every choice in Anno 117: Pax Romana carries weight and consequences. The upcoming city-builder invites players to shape the fate of their province through decisions tied to gods, technology, and military strength. Immersed in an authentic and atmospheric world, players must ultimately decide the true cost of peace.
Far from the marble pillars of Latium, Albion offers a distinct gameplay experience. Here, players will choose between embracing Celtic traditions or pushing forward Roman ambitions, uncovering myths and rituals that define the beliefs and daily lives of its people. A new Romanization system deepens this choice, allowing governors to either integrate with the local culture or impose Roman customs on their subjects.
Selecting Albion as a starting province—or encountering it later in the campaign—introduces fresh challenges and opportunities. Players will encounter a wide pantheon of Celtic gods unlocked through the Discovery Tree, gain access to new technologies hidden within the province, and experiment with unique approaches to governance. Whether draining marshlands with Roman engineering or preserving Celtic heritage, Albion adds new layers of strategic depth to the experience.
Anno 117: Pax Romana launches on November 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC via the Ubisoft Store.
