Publisher Nacon and developer Rogue Factor have unveiled the official story trailer for the upcoming action RPG Hell Is Us. Alongside the trailer, a free 16-page digital comic that sets up the events prior to the game’s opening is now available via the Nacon website. The game itself is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on September 4.

Hell Is Us is set in the war-torn fictional country of Hadea, a land long isolated from the outside world. Players take on the role of Remi, a peacekeeper who was born in Hadea but smuggled out as a child. His mission to return to his homeland is both personal and political, offering him a chance to uncover the secrets of his past and the truth behind his parents’ decision to abandon him.
Complicating this journey is the emergence of a strange phenomenon known as “the Calamity.” This mysterious force manifests in the form of hostile creatures resembling ancient monuments and headstones, pushing Remi into a struggle not only against the scars of civil war but also against an otherworldly threat that haunts the land.
The newly released digital comic acts as a prelude to these events, giving players additional context on the world and its conflicts before they begin their journey in Hell Is Us. With its September release date fast approaching, the story trailer sets the tone for a dark and personal narrative.
