THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have revealed the Early Access roadmap for Titan Quest II, outlining both major and smaller content updates that will shape the game in the months ahead. Major updates are planned roughly every three months, and while each won’t necessarily include every feature, players can expect additions such as new masteries, story chapters, gameplay systems, a full character creator, and other improvements.

Between these larger drops, the team will deliver smaller updates aimed at introducing new mechanics, refining existing ones, or overhauling certain systems entirely. Quality-of-life changes, balancing adjustments, and bug fixes — including hotfixes where necessary — will also be part of the regular update cycle.
The developers explained that Early Access was chosen to allow them to iterate closely with the community, especially in the crowded ARPG space where fine-tuning core mechanics is essential. The Early Access version is priced at $29.99 USD (or €29.99), with a launch discount bringing it down to $23.99 until August 8, 2025. Pricing will gradually increase during the Early Access phase, with the full 1.0 release retailing for $49.99 USD/€49.99. The full launch is currently targeted for the end of 2026.

Future plans include console versions for PlayStation and Xbox, which will arrive alongside the 1.0 release. At present, Early Access is available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GeForce Now, with additional PC platforms under consideration. Multiplayer is already available in a preview form for up to four players, though the team warns it may contain minor bugs. A more polished and expanded multiplayer experience is planned for the full release, and elements may be added earlier depending on roadmap progress.
The roadmap also confirms that one of the first major Early Access updates will introduce a full character creator, while mounts will not be included to preserve pacing and core mechanics. The team expects at least six masteries in the base 1.0 version, with the possibility of more in future DLC or expansions. While PvP is not planned, endgame content is in development, though details will be shared later in Early Access.
Modding support is limited at the moment but may expand based on player demand and internal feasibility discussions. As the team noted, the roadmap is subject to change as development progresses, but the goal remains the same — to deliver a polished, replayable campaign that builds upon the legacy of Titan Quest.
