DaRmaZat Bloober Team has released an extended look at Cronos: The New Dawn, showcasing the first 35 minutes of gameplay from its upcoming third-person survival horror game. The video highlights the game’s haunting opening and sets the tone for its eerie, time-warped narrative.
Set across two timelines—an altered 1980s Poland and a ruined future—Cronos: The New Dawn places players in the role of a Traveler, an agent of the Collective tasked with extracting human essences from the past. These souls, once harvested, can aid in the struggle against monstrous threats in a world shaped by a mysterious cataclysm known as The Change.
Fusing retro-futurism with Eastern European brutalism, Cronos combines atmospheric storytelling with tactical third-person combat, where survival depends on careful planning and quick decision-making. The newly released footage offers the first deep dive into the game’s mechanics, setting, and dual-era structure.
Cronos: The New Dawn is scheduled to launch this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
