DaRmaZat Everstone Studio and publisher NetEase Games have launched Where Winds Meet: The Final Test, a limited-time, free closed beta now live on PC (via Steam) and PlayStation platforms. The test runs through August 1 and offers a first deep look at the upcoming open-world Wuxia action RPG as it nears completion.
Where Winds Meet is an epic open-world action RPG inspired by classic Wuxia fiction. Set during China’s chaotic Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era, players take on the role of a wandering sword master navigating political turmoil, ancient secrets, and their own mysterious past. The game combines fast-paced martial arts combat with deep narrative choices and exploration across a dynamic, living world.
The beta includes access to the entire Qinghe region and most of Kaifeng, where players can take on solo, co-op, and online missions, and progress through the main story up to the midpoint of Chapter 2. Though the game is still in development, this test gives fans a robust taste of its world, mechanics, and combat systems.
The closed beta is accessible only to registered participants. Steam users must redeem their beta code to download the game. Test access is bound to your chosen platform and cannot be transferred or resold. Controller support is available, but not all menus are fully optimized—keyboard and mouse are recommended for best performance.
