Publisher Astrolabe Games and developer Frozen Lake Games have announced that retro rally racing game Old School Rally will leave Early Access and launch this holiday season for PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A free demo will be available for PS5 and Switch starting July 10.
Update – July 16, 2025: As of July 16, Old School Rally has been delisted from Steam after receiving a DMCA takedown request. No further details have been made public at this time.

Originally launched in Early Access on July 19, 2024, Old School Rally draws heavy inspiration from the golden age of ‘90s rally racers, blending arcade-style action with skill-based driving and retro aesthetics. The game has racked up over 55,000 wishlists, thanks to its community-focused development and nostalgic charm.
The Early Access version already includes several fan-requested features, such as ghost racing, steering sensitivity settings, alternate liveries, stage optimizations, wheel support, and a growing list of cars, tracks, and music. New content and modes are planned to continue rolling out as development wraps up ahead of the full release.
In Old School Rally, players race through dirt, snow, and tarmac stages across the globe in cars inspired by rally icons of the past. With global leaderboards, achievements, and accessible-yet-precise controls, the game aims to revive the classic rally experience for a modern audience.
