Simone Metaphor: ReFantazio, the critically acclaimed fantasy RPG from developer Studio Zero and publisher ATLUS/SEGA, has launched a free Prologue Demo on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2.
Celebrating its second anniversary alongside its award-winning original 2024 debut, the game tasks you with embarking on a journey across the United Kingdom of Euchronia to lift a deadly curse from the crown prince. The playable trial covers the opening chapter of the campaign, allowing players to explore the first four dungeons, meet six core party followers, and unlock seven of the game’s 40-plus combat Archetype classes, with all progress directly transferring over to the full game.
Metaphor: ReFantazio launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026, and is currently available on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Xbox on PC.
