Usual June, the third-person supernatural action-adventure from developer and publisher FINJI (the studio behind Overland and Canabalt), has pushed its release date to January 20, 2027. Showcased with a fresh gameplay trailer at The Cozy After Dark Steam event, the delay provides additional development time to polish the experience.

In the decaying city of Fen Harbor, June must bridge the gap between the living and the dead to avert disaster. You’ll venture through secret labs, buried tunnels, and haunted observatories, as well as a surreal otherworldly realm where fast-paced arena combat lets you dash, dodge, and customize your abilities. Leveling up unlocks powerful supernatural skills, but each comes with a hidden drawback. To uncover the truth before time runs out, you’ll also interrogate 25 living and dead characters, piece together ghosts’ photographic memories, and interact with the physical world.
Usual June launches January 20, 2027, for PC via Steam.
