Nostalgic Soulslike PRISON OF HUSKS Locks in January 2027 Launch Date, Steam Demo Now Available

Developer Glass Head Dolls and publishers WINGS and Glass Head Dolls have announced that nostalgic Soulslike action RPG PRISON OF HUSKS will launch on January 27, 2027. Accompanying the date reveal, an updated playable demo featuring the game’s opening level and first boss fight is live on PC via Steam.

PRISON OF HUSKS takes place in Lysiane, a painted afterlife slowly falling apart. You awaken as an attuned doll searching for your lost love across connected areas filled with shortcuts and hidden secrets. As a proper soulslike, the game pits you against decaying pigment beasts and rival dolls, with well-timed parries, adrenaline mechanics, and loadouts ranging from firearms to magic at your disposal.

PRISON OF HUSKS launches January 27, 2027, for PC via Steam and PS5.
