Mega Man: Dual Override, developed and published by Capcom, reveals a new trailer and media drop showing off fresh playstyles ahead of its planned 2027 launch on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

The latest entry in the Mega Man franchise brings Proto Man back as a secondary playable character alongside the Blue Bomber, giving you two distinct playstyles to tackle each stage. When taking on stages, you can activate the new Override power-up system to push Mega Man and Proto Man beyond their normal limits, though running out of charge leaves your character temporarily weakened.
You can also customize how both heroes play by equipping Custom Chips, unlocking extra tools like rapid-fire shots, hovering maneuvers, or a protective bubble shield. Defeating new Robot Masters like the firework-themed Twinkle Girl rewards you with specialized weapons, including a charged attack that lets you perform an aerial dash.
Teased in brief trailer footage, classic foes like Mega Man 8‘s Astro Man also make an appearance among the roster.
