Simone Publisher Kwalee and developer The Wild Gentlemen have announced that RetroSpace will launch on October 1 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The immersive first-person sim casts you as a simple janitor aboard the Aurora 5 space station after it gets swallowed by a sentient black hole. RetroSpace features Mutamods – body mutations that grant powers like tentacle arms and mind control at the risk of side effects – alongside a unique cloning system where dying generates new clones that must reclaim lost gear from previous runs.
Trapped in an interconnected Metroidvania-style environment filled with mutated creatures and time anomalies, you can choose between stealth, environmental hacking, and full combat in order to survive.
