DREADMOOR Reveals October Demo Date and Brand-New Trailer at Secret Sauce Showcase 2026
DaRmaZat During the Secret Sauce 2026 Showcase, developer Offbrand Games revealed a brand-new trailer for DREADMOOR and announced that a public Steam demo will launch on October 6, 2026.
Blending survival mechanics, crafting, and tense combat, DREADMOOR is an atmospheric first-person fishing adventure set in a post-nuclear, Lovecraftian world. As a captain, you command your own fishing trawler through the hazardous Submerged Lands – a watery wasteland mutated by a corrupting force known as the Sea-Blight.
Navigating the flooded ruins of a collapsed civilization, you will hunt down over 100 bizarre and mutated sea creatures, salvage remnants of the old world using a grappling hook, and defend your vessel from aggressive oceanic horrors.
For players eager to set sail even earlier, the developer has announced a closed Focus Test starting on July 24, 2026, with sign-ups available via their official Discord channel until July 22.
