Publisher Wired Productions and developer LKA have shared an in-depth three-minute developer presentation for their upcoming psychological horror game, When Sirens Fall Silent. Revealed during the Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest 2026 Edition, the showcase offers a deeper look into the title’s dark atmosphere, primary characters, and central investigative mechanics.

Developed by the acclaimed studio behind The Town of Light and Martha Is Dead, When Sirens Fall Silent represents a major evolution in LKA’s signature style of immersive, concept-driven exploration. The game serves as the next entry in the studio’s Storie Senza Voce (Stories Without a Voice) franchise, a series dedicated to shining a light on “the forgotten people”. True to the studio’s narrative roots, the plot tackles heavy, uncomfortable, and deeply human themes, including psychological trauma, addiction, misogyny, and human trafficking.
Players take on the role of Mila, a determined policewoman thrust into a high-profile case involving a string of brutal kidnappings and murders. Progressing through the mystery requires active detective work, including examining bodies, picking apart crime scenes, and solving a mix of logical and mind-bending environmental puzzles. A core pillar of the gameplay involves interrogating a cast of key characters. Spelers must navigate complex, branching dialogue trees while paying close attention to character body language, as crime scenes and suspects often harbor hidden details that require thorough, multi-layered re-examination to uncover the full truth.
When Sirens Fall Silent launches on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store & GOG. A release date has yet to be announced.
