Second Stone proceeds with its phased announcement with a new trailer, offering a closer look at its combat flow, traversal systems, and RPG structure ahead of its release on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store & GOG.

At the center of Second Stone is Shiren, a young protagonist searching for a lost spirit guardian while moving between two fractured worlds on the verge of collision. The newly released footage emphasizes the contrast between these realms, where vibrant environments shift into more hostile counterparts, reinforcing the game’s dual-world structure.
Combat in Second Stone is built around high-mobility movement, blending fast-paced encounters with platforming and environmental interaction. The trailer highlights how abilities can be shaped through a modular system, where elemental stones are combined and equipped to alter playstyle and expand combat options. This flexibility extends into exploration, where players navigate both overworld spaces and procedurally generated labyrinths that introduce shifting layouts and repeatable challenges.
Outside of combat, Shiren’s progression ties back to a central village hub, where upgrades, interactions, and side activities provide structure between expeditions. Developed by Skyward Entertainment in collaboration with Headup, the project continues to expand its identity through this latest look, focusing on how its systems interconnect across movement, combat, and exploration.
