New Trailer for Underwater Adventure SIRENS Revealed

A new trailer for Sirens, a narrative-driven underwater adventure coming to Steam via Early Access, has been revealed. The footage highlights one of its main characters, the mermaid Nyr. A release date has yet to be announced.

The latest video centers on Nyr, offering a closer look at her role within the game and showcasing a redesigned appearance shaped by environmental realism. The developers adjusted her look to better reflect the conditions of underwater life, aligning with the project’s broader focus on immersion and believability. This character-focused trailer provides a more personal glimpse into the world of Sirens, emphasizing tone and atmosphere over direct gameplay exposition.

Sirens is an underwater exploration and narrative-driven experience that focuses on freedom of movement and interaction with the ocean itself rather than traditional quest structures. Instead of following markers or objectives, players swim through detailed environments, uncover hidden locations, and influence the world in a more organic way, with the environment reacting to their presence and actions.

The game also introduces a duality in gameplay. Exploration is calm and atmospheric, but when danger arises, the mermaid can shift into a more aggressive state, engaging in close-range combat against hostile creatures. Alongside exploration and combat, players can customize their underwater home, collect treasures, and evolve their mermaid over time, changing both appearance and capabilities as progression unfolds.
