Action adventure RPG Emberville will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam this summer, as revealed through a announcement trailer from developer Cygnus Cross. The project, which has been in development since 2023, positions itself as a deeper and more flexible take on the familiar farm-and-fight formula.

Set in a world designed around player freedom, Emberville blends fast-paced combat, class-based progression, and creative town-building into a single interconnected experience. Players are encouraged to experiment with different playstyles thanks to a combat system built around weapon-based combos and class abilities that can be inherited across multiple roles. By leveling different classes, skills can be carried over and mixed, allowing for highly personalized builds rather than rigid archetypes.
Outside of combat, Emberville places a strong emphasis on customization and progression. A dedicated creative area lets players build structures, decorate their surroundings, manage farms, and place crafting stations, while a dynamic user interface adapts seamlessly depending on whether the player is fighting, farming, fishing, or building. Exploration plays a major role as well, with a large procedurally generated world featuring varied biomes, events, enemies, and hidden secrets.
The game has drawn notable attention during development, with Twitch streamer CohhCarnage actively collaborating with Cygnus Cross throughout production. The studio has also confirmed that Alex Jordan and Doug Cockle are among the first voice actors attached to the fully voiced experience, with more cast members to be revealed later.
