First-person adventure puzzle game Echoes From Ciudadela has been announced for PC via Steam by developer and publisher Kronos Interactive, with a playable demo coming soon. No release date has been confirmed.

In Echoes From Ciudadela, players step into the role of Katari, an ambitious adventurer following the final wishes of his deceased father. After discovering his father’s journal, Katari is drawn toward Ciudadela, a sealed mountain hiding ancient technology and long-buried secrets. The journey unfolds as a narrative-driven expedition where personal history and lost civilizations gradually intertwine.
Gameplay centers on exploration and environmental puzzle-solving inspired by historic inventions. Players are encouraged to observe their surroundings closely, experiment with interconnected mechanisms, and decipher increasingly complex machines blocking progress. A central tool throughout the adventure is Katari’s Balearic Sling, which can be used to strike distant objects, activate mechanisms, and manipulate the environment. As the story advances, the sling can be upgraded, enabling deeper interaction with Ciudadela’s forgotten systems.
The mountain itself acts as a living space shaped by centuries of isolation. From expansive Patagonian landscapes to shifting underground caverns infused with sci-fi elements, Ciudadela continuously evolves as players move forward. Along the way, Katari uncovers relics tied to legendary historical figures, reactivates dormant technologies, and reconstructs the story of a civilization that once transcended conventional limits. His father’s journal serves as both narrative anchor and gameplay aid, revealing new entries as puzzles are solved and offering guidance when challenges become more demanding.
Designed as a first-person narrative experience, Echoes From Ciudadela combines atmospheric exploration, tactile puzzles, professional voice acting, and detailed sound design, using audio and environmental cues to subtly guide players without breaking immersion.
