Psychological thriller When Sirens Fall Silent has been announced for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, published by Wired Productions and developed by LKA. A release date has not yet been shared.

When Sirens Fall Silent follows Mila, a policewoman navigating the uneasy atmosphere of early 1990s Italy. Still burdened by a past she has tried to leave behind, she is assigned to a disturbing case involving kidnappings and murders that quickly grows more tangled and more personal than expected. As the investigation unfolds, Mila must confront both the escalating violence around her and the psychological pressure that threatens to pull her under.
The game continues LKA’s tradition of recreating real Italian environments with meticulous detail while tackling emotionally challenging subject matter. Rather than relying on graphic horror, the studio aims for a tone rooted in discomfort, tension, and grounded realism. The narrative connects to The Town of Light and Martha Is Dead, expanding Luca Dalco’s broader Storie Senza Voce universe, which focuses on overlooked stories and marginalized individuals.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, the project pushes the studio’s small team toward more ambitious storytelling techniques. This includes a branching dialogue system that emphasizes emotional nuance, character interaction, and player-driven decision-making. Players will investigate crime scenes that evolve over time, study physical spaces for hidden details, interview individuals whose body language may reveal as much as their words, and solve environmental puzzles woven directly into the narrative. Through these elements, the game aims to deliver a cinematic and unsettling thriller where every choice shapes Mila’s path through a world that grows increasingly hostile and uncertain.
