The first-person adventure puzzle game WILL: Follow the Light—in development for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam & GOG—has officially shifted its launch window to the first half of 2026. Developer and publisher TomorrowHead Studio shared the update after completing a substantial round of closed playtests, where more than 500 participants helped refine core mechanics, stabilize performance, and shape the direction of the full release.

The studio emphasized its commitment to launching simultaneously across all platforms, noting that the extra time is essential to ensure a polished, unified release. This marks a significant step for the team, as WILL: Follow the Light is their debut title and represents a deeply personal project they want to deliver with care and precision. TomorrowHead Studio expressed gratitude to its community for its patience and promised a series of December surprises as a thank-you to long-time followers.
Earlier previews—including a recent gameplay trailer—offered a deeper look into the atmospheric northern wilderness setting, revealing new locations and expanding the emotional tone of the experience. The story follows Will, a lighthouse keeper whose quiet life unravels when disaster strikes his hometown and his son vanishes. Players guide him aboard his sailing vessel Molly as he travels through frozen landscapes, open seas, and abandoned settlements in search of answers. Sailing, exploration, and puzzle-solving work together to uncover a narrative centered on family, resilience, and self-discovery amid harsh natural forces.
