The stealth action sequel Styx: Blades of Greed—coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store—has been delayed to February 19, 2026, shifting from its previously planned fall 2025 release window.

In this new chapter from Nacon and Cyanide Studio, players once again step into the role of Styx, a sharp-tongued goblin thief with a talent for slipping through danger. The story centers on the hunt for Quartz, a powerful and volatile resource capable of tipping the balance in a world preparing for conflict between elves, humans, and orcs. The sequel builds on the foundation of earlier entries while placing greater emphasis on player creativity and freedom.
Styx’s missions unfold across expansive vertical environments designed to encourage experimentation with traversal tools and stealth abilities. Returning Amber skills such as cloning and invisibility combine with new Quartz-driven powers like Mind Control and Time Shift, allowing players to approach infiltration from multiple angles. Crafting weapons and potions plays a larger role as Styx assembles his own crew aboard a zeppelin, hunting a mysterious energy source while dodging deadly Inquisition traps.
The adventure spans three large exploratory regions: The Wall, marking the edge of human territory; Turquoise Dawn, a thriving orc settlement; and the ruins of Akenash, the fallen elven capital. Tools like a glider, grapple, and claw-based climbing enable players to navigate these layered spaces and unlock previously unreachable routes in a Metroidvania-inspired progression loop. With familiar faces returning and new characters emerging, Styx: Blades of Greed sets the stage for the beginnings of the Great War and the rise of the Black Hand.
